One of the most beautiful things about the holy scriptures to me is the way it is both same ol’ same ol’ and magnificently new.
God was, is, and forever will be
gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger,
abounding in loyal love and faithfulness.
Halleluja
God was, is, and forever will be
in charge of the winds, the waves, and the spiritual world
as recorded in Genesis, the Gospel of Mark, in Revelation.
Amen
Be still my soul and hear these timeless truths.

Be inspired my soul and hear these truths anew.
Every single time Pastor Robert preaches from Mark 4 and 5 it is like seeing a beautiful new shade of color. In 2020, he pulled two questions from the text, painted them side-by-side, and revealed the hard truth about how we are prone to falsely answer the question “Does God care?”
Last month, he returned to the same passage but asked the question “Who’s really in charge?” In answering that, Pastor Robert showed me colors and textures in the text I’d never seen before. Oh how the beauty of the scripture reveals the beauty of Jesus! I could not help but write up my notes (below).
That said, there is no substitute for listening to the message. Enjoy the Word of the Lord.

Thank you for sharing. That was an excellent teaching. What a mighty God we serve.
